April 12	Vegetable gardening seminar – come and listen to accomplished vegetable gardeners talk about planting dates and techniques for a bountiful harvest 10:00 a.m.
April 25-26	Annual spring open house – join the Isle of Green Garden Center staff for a look at our new additions: cool new annuals for your gardens or your mixed container planters, shrubs, lots of new pottery, decorative garden accessories, fountains and your gardening necessities such as potting soil, fertilizers, organic products, gloves and garden tools. Be sure to stop by our brand new “planting bar” for exciting ideas for container gardening.
May 1	New perennials, shrubs and annuals are introduced by Kathy and Tad. 6:00 p.m.
May 22	The many uses of herbs with Tad Dawson. He will cover the history, cultivation and many uses of herbs.
May 12 - June 30	Group seminars on container gardening with Isle of Green staff. What could be more fun than bringing a group of your friends and/or co-workers for an evening of beautiful plants and dirty hands – on entertainment. Please call to reserve your time and date.
June 10	Grilling with herbs! Come and learn how to turn your average summer barbeque into something your guests will never forget! We are throwing out the barbeque sauce and throwing the meat on the grill for quick and easy entertaining ideas. 6:00 p.m. Tad Dawson – head herb monger – cost $5.00 – you will receive a $5.00 gift certificate good on your next purchase.
July 28	Perennial garden makeover with Kathy Larson. Bring a photo of your problem area and we’ll get to work.
August 6	Make your own stepping stones with the Isle of Green Garden Center staff. Save your really neat hosta, elephant ear, rhubarb leaves or anything else you might want in the design. Cost - $5.00 supply fee.
August 13	Over-wintering tender bulbs/taking cuttings/and preparing your garden for winter.
